The New Business Movement (NBM) is a one day conference designed to inspire and educate youth who dream about starting their business. The 2012 New Business Movement will take place on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the North York Civic centre with Enterprise Toronto and the City of Toronto as Event Venue Sponsors.
The NBM will educate, empower and connect young entrepreneurs across Toronto through keynote speeches by industry leaders and business workshops. Workshops are being offered on topics of business planning, networking, social media and a number of other. The workshops are excellent for both youth who are just starting their new businesses and those who are already have established their business but are looking at that next step.
This year we have the pleasure of having Ian Troop, CEO of the Toronto 2015 PAN American Games as our keynote speaker.
Each year, the NBM is organized and run by Youth Employment Services’ BizStart youth, a group of dedicated entrepreneurial youth who are enrolled in an 11-month Entrepreneurship Training Program at YES.
