Michelle Clarke

Michelle Clarke is the owner and primary photographer of Michelle Clarke Photography
She feels incredibly fortunate to have something that she is truly passionate about as her career. No matter what is going on in her life, taking photographs is something that has always made her happy. Photography gives her an opportunity to work with people, and to capture a part of their personality in order to share it with others.

Michelle received her fine arts training at Mount Allison University, and in recent years she has also completed several specialized courses at George Brown College.  Michelle’s photographs have been displayed in various publications including: 7 Mondays, a yearly arts publication by the Anchorage Press;  and Girl Spoken: From Pen, Brush & Tongue, published by Second Story Feminist Press.

Michelle lives and works as a fine art and freelance photographer in Toronto.  While she specializes in portrait photography, she also has a passion for rural landscapes and recently received an “Emerging Artists” grant from the Ontario Arts council to work on a series on landscapes on the east coast of Canada.
