Tanya Neumeyer

Tanya Neumeyer is a spoken word artist who loves to perform her work. From Toronto to Kingston, Montreal, Detroit and Madison, Tanya goes the distance to participate in poetry slams and festivals. Her first book, Piecing It Together, was published this year by Thee Hellbox Press, a printing press making innovative hand-made books. Her writing touches on themes of loving, living, healing and forgiving. From abstract word play to heartfelt storytelling, Tanya’s writing has depth and breadth. As a member of the Toronto Poetry Project, a collective that aims to promote spoken word in Toronto and beyond, Tanya is an active member of a community of poets. She facilitates poetry and writing workshops for youth and adults.
